In 2004 the winner of the Foote Music Scholarship was :

Susan Min, viola

This talented young musician was presented with her cash award
at the first concert of the 2004 season, "Bravo Beethoven", on November 6.

We are looking forward to having Susan in the Northumberland Symphony Orchestra
for another season.

There were no candidate submissions presented in 2005, 2006 or 2007.

This Award is presented to outstanding young musicians through a bequest received from a
Lt. Col. Foote of the Royal Canadian Legion in Grafton.

Candidates may submit applications and be willing to play with the Northumberland Orchestra & Choir.
The amount of the award is $500.
